Shapewear Challenge 2012 - Days 3 & 4

Oh my god of fashion heaven!!!! A small miracle happened in the wardrobe yesterday!! I have always tried full shapers (slips or underbust to mid-thigh shapewear), but I have never tried a shaping brief. And I am a TOTAL CONVERT - I LOVE IT!!!!!

The pictures alone say all that needs to be said I think, but for the sake of completeness here is my list of pro's and con's.....

Thumbs up:Seriously, look at the photo. Enough said!!!!!! Very rarely do you catch me in jeans - and I'd never wear a tight top with it but look at those jeans now! It's also SUPER comfy - which surprised me. I thought I'd feel constricted with this under my jeans but I didn't - I could move, eat, and tucking the shaper under my bra gave me full support and confidence. (Photo does show me in a black shaper and bra under a white tank - just so you could see it the impact of the shape wear better, but obviously not a habit I condone in real life!!)

Thumbs down:OK.... It's not the kind of shaper you want your husband to catch you in on date night, I'll give you that..... best to have that spare set of fancy lace knickers in your handbag to change in to on the way back from date night! ;-) And as it's a full brief it is best worn with items like denim where VPL won't be an issue!

And now, I must go as I need to say a prayer to the God of Fashion and Boyfriends Past that none of my ex-boyfriends ever log on to this site and see my "tummy tucked in to jeans" rolls that I have so far managed to hide so well (until of course these very revealing images)!!!!!
